THOMAS WHERRY, M.D.
Dr. Wherry is co-founder of Total Anesthesia Solutions, LLC. While maintaining a busy clinical anesthesia practice, Dr. Wherry has been providing leadership to a national surgery center management company since 1996. In this capacity, he has collaborated with professionals in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan and Kuwait to improve the delivery of anesthesia care.

Dr. Wherry graduated from Ohio State University and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati. He completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Wherry is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesiology and has sub-specialty certification in Pain Management.

JUSTIN SMITH, PMP
Justin brings over 12 years of project management experience to Total Anesthesia Solutions, leading healthcare and government organizations through project execution to deliver value-building solutions.

Prior to joining Scope Concepts, Justin served as Vice President of Health Systems, Client Services for Ventra, formerly known as abeo. In this role, Justin reported directly to the Executive Vice President of Client Services and oversaw the client services team for various health system and hospital clients. In this capacity, he developed strategies to optimize revenue cycle performance and operational efficiency through industry-leading data analytics and technology tools for both large and rural health systems. Justin has an extensive network of supporting and consulting on a large variety of anesthesia staffing models which enable him to develop unique strategies for our clients. Additionally, Justin is well-versed in navigating the federal quality reporting requirements as it pertains to the specialty of Anesthesia.

Justin is a certified Project Management Professional and completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Coastal Carolina University.
