Thomas Wherry, M.D.
While maintaining a full-time clinical anesthesia and pain practice, Dr Wherry has been Medical Director for the national surgery center management company Health Inventures, LLC (formerly Johnson and Johnson Health Care Services) since 1996. In this capacity, he has collaborated with professionals in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan and Kuwait to improve the delivery of anesthesia care. Dr Wherry is co-founder of Total Anesthesia Solutions, LLC, a company dedicated to addressing the emerging anesthesia subsidy crisis and developing innovative anesthesia service solutions for practitioners, hospitals and major health systems.

Dr. Wherry graduated from Ohio State University and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati. He completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Wherry is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesiology and has sub-specialty certification in Pain Management. He is currently a member of First Colonies Anesthesia Associates, LLC, a large anesthesia group that employs over 140 anesthesiologists, and served as a board member for the group’s management arm.

Dr. Wherry and his wife, a senior administrator at federally qualified community health center, live in Frederick, Maryland and are the parents of three daughters and a son. He has consulted extensively in the United Kingdom and traveled through Europe, Middle East and South America.


Stephen D. O’Neill

A Senior Level Executive with 20 years of healthcare leadership experience focused on anesthesia practice management, hospital consulting and ambulatory surgery center operations and management.  Steve is co-founder of Total Anesthesia Solutions, LLC, a company dedicated to addressing the emerging anesthesia subsidy crisis and developing innovative anesthesia service solutions for practitioners, hospitals and major health systems. Steve also serves as President of Delmarva Healthcare Solutions, Inc., a national healthcare consulting company delivering development, operations preparation, and management services to hospital and physician owned ambulatory surgery centers as well as hospital operating room and anesthesia consulting services. 

Prior to starting Global Anesthesia Solutions, LLC and Delmarva Healthcare Solutions Inc., Steve served as Director of ASC Operations for Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Systems, Inc. where he was responsible for managing and developing ambulatory surgical centers and inpatient surgical care departments for health systems and/or physicians throughout the United States.


AHMA
Ahma, Inc., has provided professional medical billing services to physicians since 1995. Originally incorporated in February 1994 as Associated Health Management Alliance, Inc., the organization was renamed Ahma, Inc., in 2004. Owned and managed by Craig Watt, Sharon Stouffer and Tynia Sites, the three shareholders are active on-site employees of Ahma.

Megan Whitlow, BSBM, MBA

Megan Whitlow was recently appointed Director of Business Development for Total Anesthesia Solutions. She is joining the TAS team after working as the Director of Marketing in Colorado for a technology start up company and after owning her own business for over eight years in Kentucky. In these positions she worked in new business concept design, development, implementation, project management and client relationships. Her business reputation is built on her integrity, creativity, professionalism, planning, organizational and management skills. She has a very hands on approach to working with colleagues and clients alike. Megan is an MBA in Global Business Management and a BSBM in Business Management. She is excited to be an integral part of the TAS team to develop and implement new strategies and business concepts.
